Yes. The output is a standard workbook that opens in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc, and Apple Numbers. CSV values become worksheet cells, the header stays in the first row, and optional auto-width sets readable column widths.
Should I choose .xlsx or .xls?
Choose .xlsx — it is the modern Excel format and the right choice for almost everyone. Pick .xls only when you need to open the file in Excel 97-2003 or an old application that cannot read .xlsx.
Can I combine multiple CSV files into one Excel file?
Yes. Select several CSV files at once and each becomes its own sheet in a single Excel workbook, named after the source file.
Does it handle large CSV files?
Conversion runs in browser memory, so the practical limit depends on your device, browser, row count, and number of worksheets. For very large inputs, split the CSV first and convert the parts.
